
Batherod: Dull greyish/red nodules when broken or exposed to air the red material sublimates rapidly forming red fumes and causes painful blisters and ulcers to exposed skin. Found in volcanic regions. Used as a catalyst for some rare alloys, and raw in from inhaled poisons. Dangerous to work with, requires expert knowledge.
Vermengd: Very dense and hard metal used in thick armors as a coating for extensive resilience. Hard to use and forge requires magical manipulation to be used as plating. Has a grey/green luster and is very light. Mined from the hearts of old mountains.
Alsurene: Extremely light and soft metal that is psychically resonant and resistant to electricity. Used by mages for psychic related and lighting defense items.
Dialomb: light hard metal that is difficult to manipulate and purify, flat black and rough texture. Very rare, found only in one Bog in Taurdain. Presumed to be from a meteorite sometime in the forgotten past. Typically, only small nodules are found.
Adatatorite: Wonderous elastic and cohesive brilliant silver metal, takes well to enchantments. Being flexible but retaining shape is used for living inlays in the flesh of some brave souls. Binds to organic material when heated. Found near ancient ruins on the outskirts of Daccan. Very Rare.
Shantium: A metal that has been used to make vibrant blue metallic sheens on armors when alloyed with nickel, platinum and Iron
Tarshipi: alchemical wonder fuming metal that produced highly noxious yellow fumes. Very difficult to obtain even when found, sublimates upon contact with air or water. Used in explosives with toxic residue. Only known source is Thylor.
Telazurium: Crimson pyrophoric metal found in lava tubes and flows. Used by the Tal-Shie for flaming weapons.
Quassitite: Fragile nodules containing reactive metal, the outershell is formed as the metal coalesces within the earth forming a barrier to the reactive raw metal. Sometimes found in copper and silver mines.
Ulabony: A cohesive malliable rubberlike metal that is only ever been seen in the hands of the Tal-Shie used for whips and flexible weapons. Holds enchantments reluctantly.
Yadrakk: a gray/black metal, holds arcane energy well used in many spell storing devices. Has been mined near gold and platinum veins esp. very deep ones.
Silabony: Ebon black metal that is very disruptive to the magics that animate dead things, used in undead slaying weapons and protections. Source somewhere in the far west. Imported only rarely, great cost.
Aurabony: Mysterious ancient metal that cannot be forged or refoged today, immune to heat and flame, rumored to be dragonforged. Items of this metal are legendary.
Ethril: light ad will wood and strong as steel, immune to cold and is toxic to elves. Rumored to be unnatural alchemical creation. Dull black with an edge of verdant hue.
Blachurium: Possibly mythical living metal, used to replace lost limbs and make weapons that attack on their own nearly completely resistant to magic. Unknown in the eastern Kingdoms. But rumors persist.
Cadrium: supremely heat resistant metal that is much sought after by smiths for forgeworks. Very heavy, denser than lead. Can only be worked using both magical and mundane heat at the highest levels.
Stellian: Half the weight of steel but nearly 4 times the strength, known as elf steel has a silvery hue.
Rosarium: Very light and strong material, glows for 20 min after an hour in the sun, used for novelty items and experimentation.
Bronzahrium: Soft and malleable metal that doesn’t rust or tarnish and can be hardened through alchemy. Used in the best Shipyards to coat and protect hulls of warships.
Varitium: A strange and rare variant steel like metal with a hue of yellow/green. Inherently resistant to magics so useful as a ward when worn or carried. Seemingly produced in areas of massive ancient magical destruction. Tiny amounts have been recently found in Taurdain after the cataclysmic magics released against the isle. Valued as jewelry by the rich and powerful as additional protection from unwanted magics. Affects all magics not just hostile though.
Eog: Rare and potent toxic metal, it rots flesh and poisons the blood. It is a dangerous and rare metal found in the deepest of mines. Dangerous to use and handle. Found in spires of crystal unforged these are quite beautiful. Clear crystals with pitch black cores. Formed in volcanos.
